HFRR (High-Frequency-Reciprocating-Rig)

Pure sliding friction tests are carried out in a high frequency reciprocating rig (HFRR - PCS Instruments). HFRR is standard test apparatus for diesel fuel lubricity (ASTM D6079, CEC F-06-A, ISO 12156, EN 590, JPI-5S-50 and IP 450) and is widely used to measure wear and friction properties of lubricants.
